I tried to follow the advise from Miklos [Cannot run presentation in office build from online/engine - #4 by vmiklos](https://forum.collaboraonline.com/t/cannot-run-presentation-in-office-build-from-online-engine/4947/4) . However, the instructions on [Build Collabora Office for Windows | Collabora Office - Community Page](https://www.collaboraoffice.org/post/build-co-windows/) are not really suitable for me because I have already installed WSL, Ubuntu and Visual Studio. Building `engine` works with that environment.

Nevertheless, I have started with a new clone and then tried the part [Build Collabora Office for Windows | Collabora Office - Community Page](https://www.collaboraoffice.org/post/build-co-windows/#build-everything-with-one-command-optional).

`make` starts, but then I get the error

```auto
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\18\Community\MSBuild\Microsoft\VC\v180\Microsoft.Cpp.ClangCl.Common.targets(235,5): error MSB6006: "clang-cl.exe" exited with code -1073741511. [C:\colwsl9\collabora-office\windows\coda\CODA\CODA.vcxproj]
```

Do you need further info? Do you have already tips, what might be wrong?

`-1073741511` is `0xC0000139`, which is `STATUS_ENTRYPOINT_NOT_FOUND`. It is unclear what could be the actual cause - but I guess that something in your installation makes `clang-cl.exe` load wrong DLLs.

Is there a way to narrow down the problem further?

I suspect a problem with ccache. The toplevel `make` is a simplistic one, so to workaround it, you may manually edit your `/online/windows/coda/config.props`, and find the entry looking like

```auto
  <PropertyGroup Condition="'C:\colwsl9\...\ccache-shim' != ''">
    <CLToolPath>C:\colwsl9\...\ccache-shim</CLToolPath>
    <CLToolExe>clang-cl.exe</CLToolExe>
  </PropertyGroup>
```

If it’s there, just delete the whole `PropertyGroup`, and try to run `make` again.

If needed, we could arrange a screen sharing session, and I would try to help resolving it?

That does not help.

That would be great. However, I have never done such and would need assistance in that.

Three changes were created as a result of the call we had:

[https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10054](https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10054)

[https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10055](https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10055)

[https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10056](https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/10056)

Thank you - together we improved it a bit more 🙂

I have removed all the local changes that were made during the call and made a `git pull -r`. Now I want to make a clean build. How to do that? When working in `engine` I would do `make clean`. However, `make clean` does not work in `co-build` from were building will be made with `make`.

I would suggest to rename the old build directory, create the new empty one, copy there the `autogen.input` file, and check that it works from scratch. Just to make sure that every step, all `confugure`s and the whole sequence works.
