# Cannot install Collabora Office Classic Demo on Windows 10

I want to install Collabora Office Classic Demo on my PC, running Windows 10 on it.

I tried to do this some days ago but did not succeed.

Today, if I run the executable file Collabora\_Office\_25.04.9.20260130\_Win\_x86-64.msi, downloaded from the server, I get the message:

> ‘A newer version of Collabora Office 25.04.9.20260130 was found. To install an older version, the newer version needs to be removed first.’

I do not know, what newer version could exist since the file is freshly downloaded. However, I do not have any idea, how I could remove anything that has to do with collabora from my PC. I do not see any directory unter C:\program files or C:\programme (x86) that could have any relation to collabora. And I cannot see any entry in the registry for software from collabora.

Any idea how fix this problem?
