# Collabora writer crashes

hi @GoranB thanks for reporting this!

Could you share a few more details so we can try to reproduce it?

- What is the exact Android device/model?

- Does Writer crash when creating a completely new blank document, or only when opening a specific file?

- If it happens with a specific file, what format is it (ODT/DOCX/etc.)?

- If possible, could you also provide a crash log or any additional details from the Android system?

Also, does this happen every time with 26.04.4.0, or only occasionally?

Hi!

Thank for taking time to investigate my problem.  
I have found Colabora Writer most useful on my smartphone.

My Phone is Android 13. Nokia G21, 4 Gb memory.

The crash occurs when i try to open a file, as well when I create a new file.

The crash occurs on any type of file. I open the file on my desktop without problem.
