Impress – Running on Primitives
-
Shapes: Armin is working on shapes.
-
Quikee is about to merge this.
-
Armin will ping us once this happens.
-
-
Vector: UI needs to be redone, with more work on the client side.

-
Calc – Cell selection
-
Cell selection currently appears difficult to read; the contrast between the background and text could be improved.
-
AI: Ivana to create an enhancement issue describing the current state and ideally how it should look.
-
-
Meta-presentations – Statuses and icons
-
Ivana has some notes regarding UX/UI for Import Slides.
-
Ideally, create a GitHub enhancement issue with the
UXtag. -
Current version is much better, but we could still iterate on the warning/danger icon so it works better at that size and style.

Onboarding flow
-
Convert this into a GitHub issue.
-
Missing parts from Darshan’s WIP changes should be pushed into a WIP change chain:
-
Transition
-
Box-shadow per component
-
Overlays:
-
No overlays for onboarding.
-
Use overlays for the new updates dialog.
-
-
Highlight colour exception for components that already have a document-type background.
- AI: Ivana to prepare a different case for the top toolbar (blue colour) as well.
-

Current – Need Opinions
-
Writer – Picture tab: Fill Color button
-
Looks good.
-
AI: Pedro & Ivana to test and see if we can come up with a better user flow.
-
Ivana suggested:
-
Add a tooltip explaining how to use it, since it only works with transparent images.
-
Alternatively, show the button only when the image is transparent, or enable/disable it depending on the image.
-
-
-
Shape tab – Line Thickness dropdown
- Discussed whether the dropdown could be confusing for users.
Next – Moving from Sidebar to Notebookbar
Two options were discussed:
-
Shape > Effect section
- Need to determine the appropriate placement.
-
Formula > Formula section
-
Potentially move the entire sidebar into a panel similar to Extensions.
-
This area needs further work regardless.
