Hi,

We use HumHub Professional Edition as a SaaS hosted by HumHub and have purchased a Collabora license for 50 users.

We understand that the Collabora Base URL should not be our HumHub instance URL. However, the HumHub integration guide says to enter [http://humhub.local:9980](http://humhub.local:9980). When we do, we get:

> Could not connect to Collabora Online server.
> file\_get\_contents(): php\_network\_getaddresses: getaddrinfo for humhub.local failed: Name or service not known

Is [http://humhub.local:9980](http://humhub.local:9980) intended only for a locally hosted or Docker setup? What Base URL should be used for a HumHub SaaS instance, and does HumHub need to provide or configure it?

Thanks for any guidance.

hi @icarlberg welcome to collabora online forum

humhub.local:9980 is just the example URL from HumHub’s local Docker dev guide, so it cannot work for their SaaS instance. They need a publicly reachable Collabora server with HTTPS - either self-hosted with their license, or they ask HumHub if their SaaS hosting provides one. Plus the WOPI allow list on the Collabora side.

Thanks
Darshan
