      • I have talked with them and it seems they are using the Google cloud platform. But this means that every time we have a new version we need to wait for Google’s approval

    • this was mostly useful for converting CSV → PDF – because separators were not found

    • idea was to detect automatically at conversion.

    • First patch – adds character-set and separator settings

      • can use these when you pass the filter parameters.

      • Instead of separator & character set put ‘detect’

    • Would be nice to use it in the import dialog.

  • Getting much more frequent races causing a download of the file … when clicked. (Michael)

    • seems like a richdocuments / Nextcloud race… perhaps more plugins installed …

    • Seems the viewer API has a design flaw in that regard

    • Our files engineering-team is looking into having a work around

  • Small bugfix release of richdocuments later (probably today)

    • Fix issue where files were locked during preview generation with network timeouts which could have lead to failed saves

      • There is still a risk, but less likely, currently thinking about better ways to handle this

      • On Android: Clipboard copies rich content properly again → iOS will need a different solution, so hopefully that’ll be in the next release

      • On both: A few more issues related to moving around calc on touchscreens…

      • …and, of course, everything else from 24.04.7!

    • Next release? → Will be a little while as I’m going on holiday for a couple of weeks, planning it for late-November

  • Core legacy format work merged → still need to make an online part to add the right export buttons, want them off by default so administrators can turn on legacy format export in COOLWSD or somesuch thing…

  • Have a patch to insert video/audio in impress → Really like this one, it’s awesome to be able to do that after having to use Desktop LO for so long … there are still some rough edges but it’s beautiful to have this finally!

    • Calc formula tooltips now available in each users language (earlier it was based on language of the first user who loaded the document) → tested today, it works!

    • Various improvements for dark/light theme text in calc when font has automatic colors → let’s test this today

    • Fixed resolved comments would have highlighted on reload even if resolved comments are hidden.

  • Grid in impress → Adding switch buttons and implementing snapping to grid functionality.

  • Impress notes view. Switch from notes to normal view

    • Desktop version has the expected triangle sign, But online shows the old red rectangle, I’ve investigated the pointed patch but didn’t help the find solution. It seems red rectangle still comes from core, we don’t create it on online. I’m debugging to find where we create the sign.
