Save problems on Android/chromebook persist

I am still having save problems on android. Even if you open up one file and save it as a different name, it apparently keeps saving as the initial filename.

Also, recommend default save filename pulls from the first line of text, instead of “document.odt” or whatever.

This problem continues. You open a file, make edits, and even though you save it as a new filename, it keeps also saving it as the old filename.

Please, this is really making it hard to use the program. Can someone respond? The save feature is horribly broken.

We are investigating this issue. There have been ongoing development work , which has unfortunately kept us quite busy.

We understand how frustrating this behavior is, especially when “Save As” continues to affect the original file. Thank you for continuing to report it. We are doing our best to identify the root cause and hope to have improvements and fixes in a future release.
