Hello! We have created a process where we use Collabora solutions. Firstly, we upload a Word file in the document using our process. This file has horizontal-oriented pages. Secondly, we convert this file into PDF and open it in Collabora. Here, we meet a problem that horizontal - wide pages look incorrect. The page is cutting off and cannot be read properly. Instead of that, users have to make scale less. It makes the process of reading such documents very uncomfortable.
For example, we have this file. If we open Word file using Collabora, we see that everything fits on the page and all content is visible.
But if we open the same file but in PDF we are not able to see all content the file. We have to change the scale that is not comfortable.
First, may I ask how you’re using Collabora, is it for an organization, a company, or perhaps part of a larger integration?
Now, regarding your issue: we understand how frustrating it can be when landscape-oriented pages in PDF files aren’t displayed properly in Collabora. You’re right — while Collabora offers full support for Word documents, PDF handling is more limited and primarily focused on viewing, not editing.
