Alignment guides in Impress and Writer

Dear Collabora team, dear forum,

I´m thinking a lot of magnetic alignment guides in Impress and Writer. Offices suites from MS oder Apple have some really useful alignment guides. Magnetically spanning with bordes of shapes, text boxes middle of pages / slides. That is a function that for me is really, really useful features.

Collabora Online has only some snapping to borders of other elements. Snap to Align. It will be really good if it has much more functionality.

What do you think?

thank you so much I really appreciated your words! I just posted my post here to Github. I also will collect ideas what features are needed to have in Impress oder Writer.

COOL Community Meeting sounds good. Will see If I can joy some meeting and share ideas.
