• Patch porting Document icons redesign by ivanakoron · Pull Request #15456 · CollaboraOnline/online · GitHub
• Need to patch port this PR. In my GitHub dekstop app I do not see Pedro’s commit. I can only cherry pick my three commits (that were combined into one commit that Pedro had posted), but I do not think this is right way, since Pedro updates some other things in his last commit.
• NOW: Cursors update, plan:
  • Attempted to create a list of all cursors currently used BUT list is not completed → will need help from a dev to run a complete search across all files to ensure no cursor is missing
  • Once cursor list is confirmed, will review each cursor and define which icon should be used → using Andreas’s existing SVG cursors as a base, updating them where needed
  • Where a cursor icon does not yet exist in Andreas’s set, a new one will be designed

Sahil

• X11 → Wayland migration, everything works now.
• Wayland supports multiple displays with different display scaling
• Investigated dynamic zoom on a scaled up display (it works, but we can do better)
• Comments can become under sidebar → !
• DOING
  • dynamic-zoom: add dynamic zoom to impress (fixing CI)
  • Adding controls for default document level behavior
  • Investigated, tested prototypes with opencloud, it doesn’t have options dialog
  • AI: I need to setup nextcloud to make further progress here.

Banobe

• Now: Restrict Find and replace dialog in view mode (calc and impress)
• In core we only have readonly mode. So fix is to be implemented online for viewmode
• However when we click Find, core send an update to the DOM and this enables the Replace button currently fixing this
• Next: Write tests for Statusbar configuration menu toggle
• Next: Writer – Low visibility on hover state in comment menu

• Now: Styles visibility filter for DOCX file format
• It’s from properties saved inside file (show used in this document / all, order)
• Will need: where to put UI? (you can start thinking about it)
• Szymon: Possible to filter standard styles so you can create a template file that has in the top your custom styles. Example: Company creates styles following the brand guidelines → filter those styles in the notebookbar.
