Is hybrid PDF bug being addressed?

I used github to report an apparent bug on Oct. 24, 2024:

Hybrid PDF fails to open in Collabora Office on IOS #10258

There’s been no activity on the bug, and it is still labeled as “unconfirmed”.

What is the approximate time frame for new bugs to be evaluated in the Collabora development community? Am I being unrealistic to expect at least some acknowledgement of my bug report?

I noticed that the Status report: consultancy team, week 50, 2024 mentions “Fixing file embedding (Hybrid mode)”. But it is unclear to me whether that is addressing the issue I reported.

I’m hoping that somebody can provide some insight, or that this post will “bump” the priority of the bug.

Thank you for reporting the issue (#10258). The missing PDF import filter (not included due to licensing, libpoppler LGPL) is the cause.

As a workaround,ou can open the PDF and open the original file (Original.odt) that is attached to the PDF document already (any recent PDF viewer should be able to do this - but not familiar what default PDF viewer on iOS offers)

We’re reviewing this based on our priority list. For urgent requirements, consider getting a support and filing tickets in our support portal.
