I can only impress that this is a significant issue for your Android user base:

  1. Its an obvious limitation to using Collabora. I (almost) may as well as use LibreOffice Viewer, or maybe another, commercial provider.
  2. Its a gap in the Android ‘app ecosystem’ - its impossible to have trustworthy opensource office file editing on Android (without complications of a proliferating number of document copies, its own not-insignificant management task).

If Collabora isn’t providing the solution we need - opensource, trustworthy office apps, integrated with ubiquitous cloud solutions (all brands) - then you just aren’t servicing the vast, growing number of Android users out there.

I appreciate your resource constraints. Unfortunately I have my own. Partnering and Subscriptions cannot be justified, especially when I might have to spend money on a commercial closed-source solution instead.

A fully functional Android app would surely help the fortunes of your project.
