Hello,
while Collabora via Nextcloud Office Integration and Docker Container (Collabora Code) generally respects language settings of users.
Current docker settings:
- dictionaries=de_DE, en_US
- https config
- v24.04.10.1.1 collabora/code
Nextcloud Config:
- all (default) language and locale settings set, except forced (de_DE)
Textual description: When I right-click export as pdf on a xslx in the Nextcloud and I have some datetime in the header of the calc document it gives me a fully different dateformat in the exported, saved pdf than my browser or my user account has.
how to test?
-
open test.xlsx
-
go to insert & click on header/footer
-
put the datetime top right (right area); custom format
-
you see the format as your set language in nextcloud! keep that in mind
-
now close the document, click right click on it in nextcloud folder view and click on save as → export as pdf
-
Check the exported pdf’s date (click on it for preview). It shows the wrong date format
I could not upload all the images individually when I wanted to sent it, so I just took a huge ss of it.
Important questions to answer:
Where does this date inserting get its locale / language from? How can I change that?
I need a urgent fix for this.
Thank you
