Me and my friends want to move off google docs cuz we don’t want our content being trained by Google’s AI. So, since I happen to be the tech person in the friend group, I brought up the idea I could just self host my own open source google docs/drive thing.
As far as I can tell, Collabora Online is the best alternative (and maybe Euro-Office?).
So, what’s the best way to share an instance with my friends? Am I supposed to use Nextcloud? How do I make sure that ONLY my friends can access my instance and store their files onto it, while still not making them do too much crazy tech stuff since they aren’t as tech literate as I am.
