Attendees:

Community update (Pedro)

  • Community hand off (Kara → Pedro)
    • still some stuff to do (around config files etc)
  • Forum is active, lots of topics created; more & more answers appreciated.
    • COOL-days
      • New Category and New Topic created
        • Additional topic to be created with the program
      • Themed front page to have banner and respective call to action
    • to announce it, and get people in the forum to see it.
  • Keep on porting and reviewing
    • Better GH notification settings (probably will still improve the way old PR are handled)
  • Chat bridge down: Telegram ↔ IRC
    • While moving to Libera our telegram api key might have got expired
      • I already set up new telegram app and with it a new api key
    • Good opportunity to maybe use one bridge solution for everything (Matterbridge, suggested by William)
  • Lots of holidaying going on in a staggered way.
  • Easier to contribute to CollaboraOnline.github.io (fixed issues, readme, updated script)

Native sidebars (Pedro, Szymon)

  • Still some work to be done concerning alignments PR#3097
  • Szymon working on a better way to handle and display expanders
  • Sidebar going ghost sometimes (opened but without content)
  • Hideous sidebar related performance problem –
    re-laying out on each keystroke / view switch
    • still pending some work.

Symfony bundle (Pol)

Design bits (Pedro)

  • Rashesh and color picker
  • Improving inserting annotation (comment) across apps and interfaces
  • Calc help dialog: adding many valuable shortcuts that were missing (also some fixes)
  • Many other ports from master being done – long overdue
  • Busy-popups: finally ported (in the queue still some work around snackbar)

Websocket connection to the Admin console (Michael)

  • already contributed and it’s already merged the 1st PR → Szymon

Schedule & update (Timar )

  • Nano release this week – done 6.4.10-10
    • various extra fixes included.
    • PDF viewing improvements & a few other bits.
    • Packages updates, release notes updated

This feature is a major differentiator between Google docs and COOL.
