Does the Android app allow live editing with Nextcloud?

Hey there

I can see that I can edit files live through the nextcloud interface, but using the native Collabora Office app I can’t find a way to do it. Am I right in thinking this functionality does not exist?

The Collabora Office mobile or desktop native apps (like the Android, iOS, or desktop versions) do not support live editing of documents stored in Nextcloud via WebDAV or other integrations in the same way the browser-based Nextcloud Office does.

Thanks for clarifying. I think the webpage promoting the app is therefore quite misleading, as it states:

The Mobile Open Source Office Suite

Brings collaborative editing of documents to mobile

I think it could be made clearer that this suite is somehow separate from the app
