I cannot stop a slide show on Android

I am using a Samsund Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. When I play a slide show it fills the screen and there is no way to exit play mode that I can find.

When I tap the current slide, it advances to the next slide, but there is no way to go to the previous slide. Thanks for any help.

Hey @Bazsl. Welcome to the forum and thanks for the question.

Hmmm… strange. I just tested it on:

  • Collabora Office 23.05.5.2

When I play a slideshow, I am able to:

  • Swipe up on my phone (typical gesture to “go back”)

and Collabora jumped out of presentation and back to the Edit mode.

Could it be the rotation?

Looks like Collabora currently flips to landscape when you are presenting, so perhaps your “go back” gesture is in a different corner.

For example:

  • When I hold my phone in Portrait, swipe in bottom left corner.
  • When my phone is Landscape, swipe in bottom right corner.

Hmmm… Did you want to:

  1. EXIT the presentation?
    • (Like your topic title says?)

Or did you want to actually:

  1. GO BACK a slide?

… and you can currently only GO FORWARD.

That too, I was able to:

  • Tap (or Swipe right) to move forward 1 slide.
  • Swipe left to move backward 1 slide.

If it’s still an issue, then we could use a little more debug information:

  • Which version of the app are you using?
  • What is your OS version?
  • Does this happen on ALL presentation files? Or only this one?

Thanks for your help, Tex. I have deciphered the swipe commands to go to the previous slide (swipe from lower left corner) and exit play mode (swipe from lower right corner) on my S9 tablet. Works great once you know the secret handshake.
