Image Insertion Fails with HTTP 400 Bad Request in Collabora Editor

Hello Team,

I am facing an issue when inserting images into documents within the Collabora editor. The issue occurs in all editor types, including:

  • Word Editor

  • Excel Editor

  • PowerPoint Editor

  • ODG Editor

Environment:

  • Product: Collabora CODE

  • Version: 26.04.1.4.1

  • Deployment: Azure Container

  • Application Hosting: Azure App Service

Issue Description:
When I select an image and try to insert it into a document using the editor’s image insertion functionality, the operation fails and the image is not inserted into the document.

Expected Result:
The selected image should be successfully inserted into the document.

Actual Result:
The image insertion fails and the image is not added to the document.

Additional Information:
I have attached screenshots of the editor showing the issue.

Is there any known cause or recommended solution for this problem?

This seems like configuration issue.

You can look at the browser dev tool logs and the coolwsd logs, to have a clearer picture.

Could be a proxy issue or a configuration issue.
