Sort multiple columns - based on one column

I am using Next Cloud Office, which is based on Collabora online.

I am trying to be able to sort my data in one column. But, I want the other columns to be sorted based on the sort in the chosen column.

In Libre office, or even google sheets, you can choose a column, then it automaticaly asks if you want to extend that soft to all the columns.

I have not fund a way to do this in Next Office/Collabora.

Can any one point the way?

Thanks

Oh sure let me paste some steps here so you will be easily do this task.

In Nextcloud Office, which is based on Collabora Online, the functionality to sort a single column while automatically extending the sort to the other columns isn’t as straightforward as in LibreOffice or Google Sheets. However, you can achieve this by manually selecting the entire range of data you want to sort.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Select the Entire Data Range: Before sorting, make sure to select the entire range of data that you want to include in the sort. This includes all the columns that you want to be sorted together.

  2. Access the Sort Function:

    • Go to the “Data” menu in the toolbar.
    • Choose “Sort” from the options.
  3. Specify the Sort Column:

    • In the sort dialog, choose the column that you want to sort by.
    • Make sure the option to “Extend selection” is enabled, if available, so that the sort applies to all selected columns.
  4. Apply the Sort: After specifying the sort column and ensuring the entire range is selected, apply the sort. This should rearrange the data in all columns based on the sort order of the chosen column.

If you don’t see the “Extend selection” option directly, manually selecting the entire data range before sorting is crucial, as this will ensure that all columns are sorted together.

This method should help you sort your data in Collabora Online while keeping all your columns aligned with the sort order of your chosen column.
