Unable to connect to the Collabora server

Hello all.

I have my Nextcloud Installed and configured on a QNAP Container and it working perfectly.

But Im unable to configure the Nextcloud Office. I unable to connect to the Collabora server.

I can see that the server points to HTTP while my Nextcloud is configured over a HTTPs.

How can I fix this and get it to work?

Thank you all for your help!

If you’re using the built-in CODE server in Nextcloud (called Collabora Online – Built-in CODE Server), then you do not need to provide or configure an external URL. Nextcloud handles everything internally.

But in your screenshot, it shows that Nextcloud is trying to connect to an external Collabora server using http://cyan.myqnapcloud.com. That usually means one of two things:

  1. You’re using the “Collabora Online” app that connects to an external server, not the built-in one.
  2. You had previously configured an external URL, and Nextcloud is still trying to use it.

To switch back to the built-in CODE server:

  • Go to Nextcloud as an admin.
  • Open Settings > Administration > Office.
  • Make sure “Collabora Online - Built-in CODE Server” is installed. If not, install it from the app store.
  • On the Office settings page, do not enter any Collabora server URL.
  • Make sure the option to use your own server is not selected.
  • You should see a message saying the built-in server is being used.

Thanks. But Ive done a docker with a Collabora Server and it worked fine!
