  1. Comment Insertion and Editing in Calc

  • Insert a comment in a cell

    • Inserting a new comment should jump the user to an already existing comment, if any

  • Editing a comment

    • Clicking on the pencil icon should allow user to edit the comment.

    • If there is a comment already being edited, a new comment insertion should not be possible. The user should jump to the comment being edited instead.

  • Advanced Fonts and Labels: Support Font Style Themes with Customizable Text Element Assignments:
    Made linechart styles.. and implemented what was needed for it to work.. but we will make new styles.
    Filtered chart styles to chart types

    Fixed problems on linux core, an online, now it works fine (but slow) on online, and have only 1 problem on linux core .. but that may not a problem for us now.

  • Re-planned what we have to do, and got several task for it.. for example we will use pre-canned images for styles .. to make it faster..
    I just started to make a script to generate images, and save chart style from all charts in a document .. because we will need to do that many times
    But there is a lot more task to do.. like a UI tab element to notebookbar.. to make style select into a popup window, instead of dialog.. refactor the colorings, and refactor the style datafile, to make it smaller

  • (In Progress) - Calc issue with XLSX file a Content not displayed correctly after removing filter

    • After removing a filter → Zoom in/out makes the content visible, so it works. But zoom to the original state → contents are disappearing again.

    • There is something that prevents the tiles from updating/redrawing.

    • Debugging the code pointers that Caolan provided.

      • To be able to open ooxml documents that have them (correctly import them) → interop

      • Table area now with new options to change particular parameters WRT styles

      • Right now working on UI elements so the user is able to create tables.

        • Would be nice to have that Table Style Options as a new contextual Tab: its done

        • Would be nice to have table style previews (Not sure will have time for that, at least not in the first approach?)

  • Nextcloud “save as” starts with incorrect format

  • Back gesture inhibition

    • Our history state handling on mobile is a mess… we hijack the history state so that users using the system “back” options can close dialogs/get out of edit mode/etc., but we don’t properly clean up if users use our UI to do these things

    • Investigating how we can fix that … probably there’s not a great way, History API is very limited (doesn’t have any introspection, doesn’t even have a popState function!) …

    • FILEOPEN PPTX Text placeholder objects background becomes None instead of solid white

      • This is a core issue: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169456

      • Default master text placeholders can have background color in normal view

      • Issue seems specific to document not a general behaviour. That is nice.

      • XML’s are inspected. There is a suspicious point there.
