  • Extensions sidebar tabs to individual sidebar Extensions pane

    • old problem fixed: Extension panels (with iframes in them) were appearing stacked on top of the sidebar → implemented solution convert the Properties sidebar heading into a tab: Properties | Extensions. Current problems:

  • Collabora Office (CODA): How to make the the switch to edit mode more discoverable

    • Animated when typing

      • Tooltip appears right bellow the switcher

      • A possible followup: to add a shortcut to switch modes and communicate it in the tooltip

    • Ideally we would also animate the component when the user clicks but hyperlinks etc are clickable on read only mode…

      • A floating toolbar appears near selection etc on read only mode (user selects a floating button appears with actions and the main one is to edit)

        • Floating switcher? With keyboard shortcut as well

      • some action (Typing, double click) automatically switches to edit mode with a easy way to go back to read only mode

        • So if someone types it automatically switches to Edit mode and then animates the switcher showing that the user is now in a different mode

  • Banobe

    • Impress: Animated GIF – Brightness, Contrast, Image Mode, Effects and Transparency do not work with GIFs

      • Image contextual NB tab has commands that do nothing when a GIF is selected. We need to determine whether this is a bug or a current implementation limitation.

    • Impress: Animated GIF is not loading when uploaded as Media

      • This is a bug.

    • Sidebar tabbed view for extensions

      • Merged, including an icon change request. To update to the proposed new “emphasized” look, I either need visual resources or need to start creating some.

    • Arrow Style dropdown split

      • Mostly merged, waiting on CI for one patch.

      • Arrow styles showing up as previews in the Line Style dialog.

      • Non-common arrow styles showing up as previews in the sidebar dropdowns.

    • Line section move

      • Will resume work after the last Arrow Style dropdown patch gets merged.
