after updating Nextcloud Hub 8 to v 29.0.4 and Collabora Online-Buit-in CODE Server (AMD64) on my Raspberry Pi 5 (Raspberry Pi OS lite) on Saturday, Nextcloud Office (which I guess is Collabora Office) quitted it’s job. If I hit “Neu” (New), only “Neue Textdatei” (New Text document) appears, no Office Document types. If I try to load an existing .odf-Document it dosen’t load, but shows the continuos spinning wheel.
Open admin settings in Nextcloud and go to option “Office” ( on your left sidebar)
Then check connection is established here or not as you can see in image.( it is for local host your might be different but just check for connection is green or not?)
I use the Built-in CODE Server, which I installed from the apps-menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled both code-server and Nextcloud Office twice already with no effect.
Multiple users reported dysfunctional integrated CODE there. I can’t tell much about the issue itself as I run CODE as separated docker container (if you run docker there is now advantage in using Nextcloud integrated CODE). Multiple users successfully integrated separated CODE using docker.
In general Raspi has computing power so you may have hard time trying to setup Nextcloud and CODE on such device…
that’s really strange: I just switched from “Use the built-in …” to “Use your own server” and back to the built-in server in the settings menu, and Nextcloud-Office works again as it should. I’m not sure what has happened there, but …
