Password secured libre office documents from gdrive do not open

Hi,
I cannot open libre office files from gdrive that are secured by password. I get to the point where I’m asked for the password, but after entering the password the file doesn’t open.
Is it a new issue after update?

To help us troubleshoot the issue could you please provide the following details:

  1. Collabora Online version you’re using (e.g., CODE or a specific release number).
  2. Browser and version you’re using (e.g., Chrome 126, Firefox 128, etc.).
  3. Operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.).
  4. Steps you follow to open the file from Google Drive (e.g., via Nextcloud, direct integration, etc.).
  5. What exactly happens after you enter the password? (Any error message or does it just hang?)
  6. Could you check the browser console logs (press F12 → Console tab) and share any relevant errors you see after entering the password?

With this info, we can look into whether it’s a regression or a setup-specific issue.

Hi Darshan,
I´m not sure now , if I have contacted the right site.
I´m using Collabora Office Ver. 25.04.2.3
on Samsung Tablet Android-Version 13
and Samsung Galaxy Smartphone Android-Version 15

On both devices I have the same problem:

When I open Google Drive and tap the password secured libre office file I´m asked with which app I want to open the file. When I choose Collabora Office it says it downloads the file and than asks for the password. I write the password and tap OK, then it hangs.
In this way I can open LibreOffice files , that are not password secured.
Also I can open all LibreOffice files with AndrOpen Office and LibreOffice Viewer (but don´t have the editing functions).
Do you have any suggestions how to proceed?
