The text is positioned on the left side of the image in Collabora Online. However, in Office, the text is on the right side.
hi @gulixiang
Thanks for reporting this issue and for sharing the sample document.
I’m creating an interoperability issue on GitHub to track this behavior between Collabora Online and Microsoft Office
We will investigate why the text is positioned on the left side of the image in Collabora Online while it appears on the right side in Microsoft Office. I’ll stay in contact with you regarding the progress, findings, and any possible solution or workaround for this problem.
Thanks again for helping us improve interoperability support.
Thank you so much for your prompt response and for taking the time to look into this issue. Please feel free to reach out if you need any additional information or further testing from my end. Looking forward to your updates!
Hi @gulixiang,
Thanks for the report, can I know how you created the bug document. From the document’s XML it looks like the file was created by LibreOffice, but it was exported in LibreOffice as DOCX, the original file is not created by LibreOffice. Was the original document created by Word 2007 or older versions?
Word used to put text to the right of image (Wrap Text: square, Alignment: Centered relative to column, Text Wrapping: Largest only), but from Word 2013+ text was arranged to the left of the image.
If I have more details about how you created this document, maybe I could find a solution to the problem.
Thanks!
